R3 n8 LOVEY DOVEY Maps back off MF. Deeper into prep on 7 day back up drops 4kg and stays at 2200m. Last start BM70 Doomben was slow away (2L) sat back 6L off inside on a slow tempo (unsuited) and had no chance of winning from there with 59kg. Ran home with totally dominant L200m figure when 2*d beaten 0.5L by Mr O’Reilly (on speed favours). Much better suited at Eagle Farm on the bigger track with 55kg and good tempo up front. Ready to win.
R4 n4 BUNKER HUT Forward behind leaders on map. 3d up off 22 days and ran 3 recent 1000m trial Gold Coast beaten 1.1L by Yellow Brick-impressive late there without his blinkers on. Last start BM94 Kembla Grange off 27 days sat 2L back in inferior ground on a crawl speed tempo and closed off powerfully late for 4″ beaten 1.9L by Well Timed. Fitter 3’d up off a great map and is just too well weighted with the claim. Looks the winner.
R6 n3 SCAMPI Forward on map behind leaders. 6″ up off 21 days rises 1kg and stays at 1000m. Last start Gold Coast Open was off 56 days sat back 4th inside 3L off on a slow tempo and had meeting fastest L600m winning by 1L on his preferred slow track. Run prior 1200m MM sprint behind Axius had strong closing figures off a very fast tempo beaten 2L on a G4 track. That is superior form for a race like this. Map suits with 54kg and should be winning again.
R8 n1 TEN DEEP Forward inside behind leader. 4th up off 14 days out to 1400m (+200m) staying in BM70 class. Last start Eagle Farm was off 42 days sat back 6L off on a fast tempo and never left the inside (good day to be there) running home powerfully late to win by 0.6L. Race rated highly and closed off with a powerful L200m figure off that tempo and won softly on the line. Proven out to 1400m and sets up so well off a perfect map with the claim.

R2 n3 TERILEE Forward inside behind leaders. 3d up off 37 days and ran last recent tick over 1000m trial (reverse way) Cranbourne March 16. Sat last there in trial under a hold and never really let go. Last start F&M BM74 Sandown sat 6th 5L of on a slow tempo (unsuited) but was cruising there mid race and exploded at the 250m winning easily by 1.8L. Her closing figures there were excellent. Races well with runs spaced and out to 1600m ideal this tempo, can win.
R3 n6 THEBELMONTGANGSTER Positive early to be on speed. Resumes off 171-day spell and three trials. All three trials have been excellent. Former Irish import about to start 2nd Aust prep for leading stable. Resumed last prep for first Aust run off long 342-day spell 1300m BM66 Sandown beating Observer. Post race issues 2″d up and then quickly spelled. Good quality horse for this class of race and should be winning.
R4 n9 PANTILE WARRIOR Forward early on speed. 4 up on 7 day back up rises 3kg and well suited out to 2400m (+400m). Last start BM85 Flemington H8 track led and looked far too keen in front there early on a fast tempo. Tried hard in straight off that when 4* To Zakouma (very smart) beaten 3.2L. Former UK import ready to peak out to 2400m back onto a dryer track.

R1 n3 THE NEXT EPISODE Maps 4P back outside. 2nd up off 24 days drops 1.5kg out to 1100m. Resumed off 123-day spell 2YO Maiden Warwick Farm S7 track sat 4* in 1/1 2L off on even tempo. Was held up in straight but exploded late when clear to win by 0.9L. L400m figure there was excellent and out to 1100m is ideal off that. High priced colt with genuine talent proven on S7 track and map looks ideal coming late out wider.
R6 n12 STREISAND Forward on map to sit 1/1. 5t up off 14 days out to1400m (+200m). Last start off 28 days 2YO Group 1 Rosehill drew wider went forward to sit 2nd on a brutal tempo and was still fighting back on the line to run 2nd to Guest House beaten 1.4L. Freakish performance off that tempo for a young horse. Genuine high quality 2YO filly and finally gets map favours on speed today out to 1400m. Placed on S7 track and keen she wins.

R5 n8 WESTERN LADY – Maps behind leaders. Last start at Ascot drew wide sat back 8L off on a very slow tempo and charged home late with 4th fastest L200m of meeting beaten 1.1L (winner led). Excellent effort there and couldn’t have done anymore. Had excuses last two runs when and now out to 2200m is ideal. She should be too strong late and win.
R9 n6 SMOOTH CHINO – Forward inside behind the leaders. Last start prior to spelling Listed Ascot sat 3rd inside early on a very fast tempo. Got clear in straight and was too classy winning by 1.6L. Race rated highly and his L600m figure off that tempo was outstanding. Unbeaten 6/6 and 1100m today off a great map is perfect. Very good horse.
