Last start BM70 Doomben S6 track (suited) drew outside went forward to 5th 5L off leader on an avert fast tempo and just took over in straight winning by 3.7L at bigger odds. Race rated best of meeting, and he closed off with 4th fastest L200m of the meeting off a fast tempo. That is not easy to do and is hard to ignore today if he repeats against this field. Maps so well to finish off strongly again and win.
R8 n9 WANDA ROX Maps forward inside behind the leaders. 3d up off 35 days and no public trial or jump out. Drops 1.5kg and stays at 1000m. Last start Eagle Farm sat 5th inside on an even tempo and ran 2’d to Steady Ready (very good since and quality sprinter) beaten 1.2L when well backed. She had post-race issues there (thumps) so her effort was excellent in a high rating race. Loves this track and distance- map is perfect and fresh form is best for her.
R9 n5 BOOMTOWN BOSS Maps Midfield and suited from there late. 20* up, resumed off short 91-day spell Eagle Farm Slow 6 and sat back near last inside 9L off leader on a slow tempo and charged home late inside to win impressively. Race rated solidly and his closing sectionals were elite. He was a few lengths off Give Me Space and Co last prep but it’s fair to say he has improved significantly off his spell and out to 1400m today is ideal. He looks to be an emerging horse and off this map/tempo today, confident he will be winning.

Last start Lised Flemington drew outside sat back last 9L off leader on a fast tempo and ran 21d to Deakin (good horse) beaten 0.4L. Race rated highly and he was 2000-2600m here so sets up ideally today back to this class of race with B Melham to ride. Looks the winner.
R9 n4 WAR MACHINE Maps 3d inside on leaders back and suited. Resumes off 154-day spell and impressive trials. Won most recent 780m Flemington April 11. Lightly raced 4YO who was tested at elite level last prep and his form/figures from there stand out in this race. Resumed off 167 days last prep at Moone Valley and narrowly beaten by Baraquiel when smashed late in betting. That horse won Group 2 race at his next start. Map suits and well weighted today for an emerging young sprinter.
R10 n2 PRANCING SPIRIT Maps 3rd right behind leader and suited. 5th up off 14 days drops 1.5kg and stays at 1200m. Last start BM74 Caulfield drew outside sat back MF 5L off leader on a fast tempo and was then held up and lost race there before charging late for 2ª to Heart Of Glass. Unlucky not to win there and race rated strongly, he had race fastest L200m. Needs another win badly but gets his chance today here off this map and set up.

Last start in Group 3 Randwick drew outside was slow away sat back last 71 off leader on a slow tempo and had zero chance of winning from there off that. She ran home strongly late without the clearest run home for 5th beaten 1.3L by She’s Got Pizzazz. Race rated very well off that tempo and her effort was strong, better suited today 3rd up out to 1400m and can run these down late and win at nice each way odds.

Resumed off 168 days sat back near last inside on an even tempo but charged home late without much room or luck late beaten 1.4L when well backed late. His L400m figure there was excellent and could have been much better with clear air. Looks better than these horses and gets a very positive riding change today. Looks the winner.
