Clear run home late from there winning impressively by 0.3L. Race rated strongly and L400m figure was excellent off that tempo. Proven this track and on good/soft and has always been a strong closer.

Last start back to 1300m drew outside sat back 6L off leader on an even tempo in a race where you had to be on speed. Was wide there and given no hope of winning race off that set up. Charged late for 3ª beaten 1L with a meeting best L600m figure including fastest L400-200m split of meeting. Excellent run with zero favours – loves this track and great map today.

R1 n6 MERRIGOLD Forward on map behind the leaders. On 7-day back up out to 1700m (+100m). Last start Open Flemington sat back 6L on a very fast tempo and had clear run home late to win impressively by 2L – L200m figure off that tempo was excellent. Race rated hugely and always respecting this trainer so the quick back up is a plus. Dry track mare proven at Caulfield and she will eat up the 1700m late with 53.5kg today, very hard to beat.
R10 n12 YES I KNOW Forward early behind leaders. 5’h up on 7-day back up and drops 4kg back to 1600m (-200m). Last start blinkers on went forward 4L off leader on a crazy early tempo – they went mad there in front. He was wide around them early in straight but had to weaken late beaten 1.4L. He was a sitting shot there late and his effort was very good. Blinkers off today and back to 1600m off this map is ideal. Keen he can bounce back and win.

Winner there had a perfect run/ride closer to the lead and was more seasoned at the distance. Run prior this track was excellent with a strong L600m figure behind Sly Boots. Gets Zac Lloyd today and sets up so much better – keen he wins.
R8 n5 WHINCHAT Positive early from wider draw to be on the speed. 3’° up off 14 days out to 1400m (+50m). Last start was off 34 days BM100 Wyong led/controlled on a slow tempo and never looked like losing from there winning by 2L. Race rated well and he closed off strongly late. Leads and controls again today and confident he can back that run up and win again.

Last start BM78 Wyong sat back 7L off on a slow tempo and was really disadvantaged back there that tempo. Charged home late to win by 0.3L with meeting fastest L600m – very impressive win. Suited out to 1400m and the claim is significant staying in BM78 class. Keen he runs over these late again and wins.
