Last start BM85 Doomben H8 track and back to 1600m (-235m) drew inside sat back 4th on leaders back on a very fast tempo and ran 3rd beaten 2.6L by Fukubana when well backed. His closing speed there off that tempo was excellent and Fukubana pulled out a career peak rating to win. Maps well and looks the winner.
R4 n1 TAVI TIME Positive early to be behind leader. 4th up off 15 days rises 1.5kg out to 1800m (+200m). Last start Listed Scone S6 track sat back 7th inside early on a slow tempo (unsuited) and charged home late to win impressively by 1.8L. Race rated ok and he accelerated brilliantly there L400m to put that field away. Well suited out to 2000m today off that and gets J Mac back aboard off a great map and proven on wet tracks.
R5 n2 GALLO NERO Maps forward to get over behind the lead group with cover. 2d up off 14 days and well suited out to 1400m (+200m). Last start 2YO Group 2 H8 track resumed off 120 days drew outside went back last and was wide trip from there on a fast tempo- charged home late for 2nd just beaten by Cool Archie. Race rated solidly and his L400m figure was excellent with 6th fastest L200m of meeting. His closing figures there were high quality.
R8 n3 STATUARIO Map suits forward of MF and off inside. 6th up off 28 days back to 2400m (-100m). Last start 3YO Group 1 Morphetville when also off 28 days drew inside sat back 7th early 8L off leader on a slow tempo and got out wider in straight running home late for 2nd beaten 0.7L by Femminile when heavily backed. Race rated strongly and his L200m figure there of that tempo was excellent. Only run on a S5 track at MValley was very good last prep off a very slow tempo. Proven at 2400m and maps well off this draw- I really liked his last run for today.

R3 n1 BIG SWINGER Maps 3P back inside. 3rd up off 49 days and ran 5th recent 1000m trial Caulfield Heath May 15. Last start Randwick Group 2 was 2nd up and heavily backed late. Sat back 6th 5L off leader on a crawl speed tempo (unsuited) and had zero chance of winning that race from there. He powered home late for 5th beaten 1.3L by Enriched. His L600m figure there was outstanding. Quality 3YO with an inside draw/map here which is not ideal but jockey is in great form. Better than these horses and can run over the top late and win.
R5 n2 MADIYYA Maps well back in field. 4th race start off 21 days out to 1600m (+200m). Last start 3YOF BM70 Caulfield sat back 8th 6L off leader on an even tempo and charged home late to win easily by 1.2L when heavily backed. Race rated solidly but she had a very impressive L600m figure with 10th fastest L200m of meeting off a great ride. Her maiden win at Sale was equally impressive. Good quality filly suited out to 1600m today who will have to come from back well back on map.
R8 n7 NIANCE Maps 4P back outside and suited from there late this tempo. Resumes off longer 196 day spell and two excellent trials. She won most recent 800m Caulfield H May 15. Unbeaten first up 3/3 and resumed last prep here 1100m in Listed class with 56kg winning by 0.3L in very good figures when well backed. She is just better than these horses and will win in better class races than today.
R9 n16 DIRTY GRIN Maps 4P back outside and suited from there late this tempo 5*h up off 35 days drops 7.5kg and stays at 1200m. Last start BM70 MValley S7 track sat back near last 7L off leader on a fast tempo and rounded them up late to win narrowly but impressively. Race rated solidly and he had a race dominant close. He defied the pattern winning there and gets a massive weight drop going to BM84 class race today. Flying for new stable and with runs spaced.

Ran home late for 2d beaten 0.4L by Akrotiri when heavily backed late. Race rated ok and he was 1350-1600m. Sets up a lot better today on this map and wet track will not be an issue for him. Keen he wins.

Last start Caulfield drew inside sat back 5th inside 5L off leader and was held up behind tiring leader in straight when 6th to Madiyya beaten 3.2L. Run prior was beaten 2.5L by Movin Out at, that filly was excellent last start at Group 2 level at Doomben. Both those runs and form lines have a lap on this field class wise. Will get back from the draw but there looks to be good speed up front on map, keen she runs over them late and wins.
