MEETING PREVIEW
Race 1: ALL SHIRAZ doesn’t have the best winning strike rate but drops in weight and finds a suitable race. Always runs well at this track and will be at peak fitness for this after two runs back from a spell, good each way chance. TRAIL OF GLORY will appreciate the drop back to 1200m and the claim for top apprentice, winning chance. VOULAIT will lead from the inside gate and might take some running down at odds. SUPERSONIC BOOM will push forward from the wide gate and with the light weight will be there for a long way.

Race 2: KRAKATOA ERUPTION is a super consistent mare who has won or placed at eight of her last nine starts, will race on pace from the good draw and take plenty of beating. HIDDEN EYES ran well for 2nd at Eagle Farm last start over this distance, both wins have been over the shorter 800m trip but gets a handy claim and looks the main danger. SPARTAN JET has been getting back and hitting the line well, can race closer from the good draw and could be the knockout runner late. REAL FINE WINE resumes in this and has shown enough ability in the past to give him a chance with the right run.

Race 3: TEARS OF LOVE ran well first up at this track when 3rd in a slightly stronger race, has a good record at this course and is well weighted after the claim for good apprentice, will take plenty of beating. ABSOLUTE GLORY broke her maiden status in good fashion last start at this track, drawn well and could go on with it. SKYE AND ME looks ready to peak at third run back from a spell and from the good draw has each way value claims. TREASURE OF GOLD is drawn well and with a positive jockey change could be an improver.

Race 4: MOJO BABY is a first starter for strong local stable and in form apprentice, she has jumped out very well and from the inside barrier will take plenty of beating. COUNTRY SHOWGIRL has run four placings from six starts including a 3rd to Kisukano three runs back. Ran 2nd at Sunshine Coast at latest run and looks the hardest to beat. WINTER RAIN is the stable mate of Country Showgirl and has five placings from six career starts. Resumes from a spell, drawn wide but has a chance. CHARGED is a well bred first starter who won a recent trial in good style at this track, drawn well and has a value chance.

Race 5: KOHIKO is first up, he resumed last preparation with a good 3rd behind the handy Bestie then ran a couple of other nice races including a 3rd at Ipswich. Drawn well for top apprentice and will run well fresh. MATILDA GENE resumes after a promising first campaign, drawn perfectly and looks the main danger. STEEL CHANCE is a first starter wearing blinkers first time and from the good draw with leading jockey on must be respected.

Race 6: HE’S ALL READY has had plenty of chances but ran well last start for 2nd at this track behind Absolute Glory, leading chance. LUCKY TIME is first up, she ran well for 2nd at Gold Coast last start behind the promising He’s The News, main danger. LICENCE TO ROCK resumes but has trialled well recently behind the smart Kisukano, drawn well and has each way claims. OUR ROCKIN’ ran well on debut before only a fair effort fresh recently but has a place chance at big odds.

Race 7: DAZZLING FLASH is a first starter for leading local trainer and top apprentice rider. Won a recent jump out very impressively and will be too good for these. STIRLING DIVA is also a first starter, she who won a trial at this track recently and looks the only danger.

Race 8: CHAMPAGNE AUNTY is a lightly raced 4yo mare who is building a good record. She stepped up to 1710m and won well at Ipswich last start, will handle the extra distance and gets in well at the weights after the claim for boom apprentice and will take plenty of beating. THE MINIVAN has been a bit disappointing this campaign but gets to a more suitable distance and with good jockey booked might bounce back to best, main danger. PERFECT PAGE won well this track and trip two back then ran okay at Dalby last start and looks next best.

Race 9: LUVYOUANYTIME will lead these, he fought on well for 2nd at Ipswich last start and will take plenty of running down in this. MOSS GO NOW continues to race well and is sure to be thereabouts again, each way chance. DREAM POLICE was unlucky last start in a weaker race and has missed a run since so the step up to 1880m is a query but good jockey booked and has a value each way chance. MISS MARGS has run okay at her last two starts at Sunshine Coast and Doomben, the step up in distance will suit and can’t be ruled out.
