Last start resumed off 112 days BM78 Eagle Farm S7 track crossed quickly to sit 2nd on a very fast tempo and stayed on fence then took over in the straight and just ran away from them winning easily by 2.5L. Race rated highly and he still had race fastest L200m which is very rare off that tempo. He spread that field out late margins wise and confident he can do the same again today.

R6 n7 GIVE GIGGLES Forward early behind leader-suited there this tempo. Deeper into prep off 28 days but has had a jump out since. Drops 1.5kg and stays at 1200m off last start F&M Class 6 Eagle Farm when sat 2d early off a wide draw on even tempo and controlled that race. Got out wider in the straight won by 1.9L with an excellent L600m figure off that tempo. Up against the males today at BM85 class but some of them are resuming or early in preps and others are out of form or have sticky maps. Decent race fit mare who loves the Eagle Farm 1200m, gets Ben Thompson and a good map. Keen she wins again.

R7 n10 BULLION BOY Midfield on map and outside. 3rd up off 21 days and stays at 1400m. Last start when 2nd up Eagle Farm Open S7 track sat 4th 3L off leader/winner on a very slow tempo and just kept chasing in the straight when 2nd to Amur beaten 0.3L. Race rated well off that tempo and his L600m figure there was excellent. Both runs back this prep have been good and gets his chance to win today.

R9 n4 OUROBOS Positive early to lead. 2d up off 14 days rises 1kg and stays at 1200m. Last start resumed off 147-day spell Class 3 Doomben 1200m crossed and led early on an even tempo and looked winner in straight but was run down right on the line by Spywire. Race rated only fairly and his L200m figure was similar, but that class of race is much stronger than today. Gets lead and control here, is fitter 2^d up and looks very hard to beat.

Caulfield Meeting Selections

R9 n6 ANOTHER WIL Great map forward inside behind lead group. Resumes off 147-day spell and two trials. Ran 2nd most recent 1000m Gosford Aug 7. Brilliant horse fresh and outstanding record at Caulfield 1400m. Proven on Soft and gets map favours – he has plenty in his favour today. Looks set for his best ever prep as a mature but lightly raced 6Y0 and hard to not see him being in the finish today. Has perfect WFA racing pattern for 1400-1600m races.

R10 n10 SEPALS Maps midfield on map looking for cover there early this start. Resumes off 182-day spell and three trials. Won most recent 1000m Mornington Aug 20. His trials have been excellent and looks to have come back in great order. Untapped 4YO who was going into Memsie Stakes today but opted for the easier BM100 option here. Gets a fast tempo where he can blend into the race out wider late. Had huge numbers last prep (one on S7 track) going from BM64 to Group 1 class in his last three runs. Very talented and off three trials- stable has shown intent there with that.

R5 n11 TAZIMA Maps 3 pairs back inside. 4th up off 17 days drops 2.5kg and well suited out to 2000m (+200m). Last start BM64 Kenso H9 track was ridden back early 9L off leader on a fast tempo and was very strong late winning easily by 2L. Race rated strongly, and he had 6th fastest L200m of meeting with margins very good behind him. That was an impressive win carrying weight and sets him up to go to BM78 class today. Gets Tommy Berry, maps closer and a weight drop. Keen he wins.

R8 n7 RAGING FORCE Leads inside. Resumes off short 49-day break and won recent 1080m trial Randwick Aug 19. He was strong late winning that trial under a strong hold – he looked brilliant there. Last start 2YO Rosehill S7 track sat 3rd early on a slow tempo 3L off leader. Just exploded in straight winning by 2.2L in a very high rating race. His L600m figure there off that tempo was excellent. Genuine talent unbeaten on soft tracks, maps on speed and has fitness advantage off the shorter break. Keen he holds these out late and wins.

R6 n6 ALL STASHED UP Comes here 3″ up and should be at peak fitness now. Resumed with a narrow 2″* at this track over 870m then was slowly away before finding the line strongly for 6*h at Eagle Farm last start. Gets in with a light weight and maps perfectly behind the speed, will take plenty of holding out late.

Last start BM78 Eagle Farm drew wider ridden along early sat 2nd on a very fast tempo (unsuited) in a race that suited the run on horses. He was brave late for 3rd beaten 1.1L by Galifianakis. Needs a win badly but he has been up on the speed off very fast tempos his last two runs and sets up so much better today with A Jones a key riding change.

Moonee Valley Meeting Selections

R7 n5 OAK HILL Last on map but suited late this tempo. 2d up off 14 days rises 1.5kg and stays at 1000m. Last start BM100 Moonee Valley resumed off 98 days drew inside in small field with gear change for new stable sat back last 5L off leader on a very slow tempo (unsuited). He still rounded them up them up quickly in the straight winning softly by 1.5L when heavily backed. Race rated well and he had meeting dominant closing figures. Loves the Valley fitter today (only one trial leading into last run) and meets similar field back onto his preferred dryer ground.

R9 n12 STOLI BOLI Back on map outside but suited late this tempo. 2d up off 14 days drops 5kg and well suited out to 1200m (+200m). Last start resumed off 217 days BM74 Moonee Valley S6 track (60kg) drew wider was slow away sat back last 6L off leader/winner on a slow tempo and ran home strongly late for 3rd beaten 1.2L by Don’t Hope Do. That was an awful set up for him resuming but his L400m figure was strong and much better suited out to 1200m today on a dryer track.

R1 n5 SIGNOR TORTONI Maps 4th in 1/1. 5th up off 28 days and back to 1200m (-100m). Last start 3YO BM72 Randwick sat 4 in 1/1 3L off leader on a very fast tempo and had a clear run home when 31ª to Glorious Moments (genuine talent) beaten 5.8L. Race rated extremely highly off a very brutal lead speed. Back to 1200m today off that effort and 28 days is perfect. Map is ideal and proven on heavy. Great placement back to Midway class today and looks the winner.

R3 n1 JUJA KIBO Maps 4P back outside. 5th up off 21 days rises 3kg out to 2400m (+300m). Last start BM78 Rosehill H10 track out to 2000m went forward in 1/1 position on a very fast tempo and then raced tight in between runners in straight and looked to be struggling. Then really picked up late and motored to the line winning softly on the line by 0.7L. His L200m figure there off that tempo was outstanding. 2400m off that is no issue-loves heavy tracks and map suits ideally today. Keen he wins again.

R5 n2 SALTCOATS Maps 3rd behind leaders and suited there. 4th up off 10 days rises 2.5kg and suited out to 2000m (+200m). Last start when 3rd up Open Kenso H9 track sat 3rd inside on a slow tempo and never ever looked like losing exploding late once clear to win by 2.2L. Race rated strongly despite the slow early speed and he had 5th fastest L200m of the meeting. Emerging stayer in leading stable who loves the wet and keen he wins again.

R6 n3 SAVVY HALLIE Positive early to be on speed. 2d up off 9 days and well suited out to 1200m (+300m). Last start 3YO Maiden Newcastle H9 track sat 2d on a very fast tempo and destroyed that field winning by 5.5L in dominant figures. She closed off there with 5th fastest L200m of meeting which was outstanding off that early speed. That was a nice warm up run for today and is proven on heavy and now with a race fitness advantage over rivals.

R7 n4 ENIGMA’S CHOICE First starter from the Kevin Kemp stable who couldn’t have been anymore impressive winning a trial at this track in good time recently. The 2’d horse has since come out and franked the form winning easily on Tuesday. Easy early speed and looks hard to beat.

R4 n2 YORGA PRIDE Maps back off MF and will find cover there early. Last start resumed off 174 days sat MF inside 5L off leader on a fast tempo. Powered home late from there to win by 0.9L over Snow God (smart and been good since). Race rated strongly and her L600m figure there off that tempo was outstanding. Emerging mare coming through the grades from leading WA stable and she should run over the top of these late and win again today.

R8 n9 SHMOOV MOOVA Maps closer today forward behind lead group. Last start resumed off 140 days H8 track Pinjarra and was even comfortable on that surface. Drew outside and sat back 3L off leader on a fast tempo and was wide there no cover. Beaten 3L late by Keep Attacking but it was a total forgive run. Stays at 1200m off 21 days today on much better track and off a great map. He has got some huge figures from last prep that win this race.

R8 n13 SPLASH BACK Maps back in field but good pressure up front early will suit her ideally late. Out to her preferred 1400 today off last start warm up run off 42 days Group 3 Flemington beaten 3.1L by King Of Roseau. Has found the right class 1400m WFA race here class wise- there is good pressure up front early, and she has huge closing speed late in her races. J Childs goes over to SA to ride her, and she should crush these late and win.

R6 n15 THE BLADE Forward early to be behind the lead group with cover. Resumes off 175-day spell and brilliantly won recent 900m trial Rosehill July 29. Obviously the X Factor here-last prep resuming BM72 Rosehill was beaten 4.6L by Private Harry which is clearly a strong form reference. Gelded this prep and resuming at 1200m suits -he has powerful closing speed and trial as a gelding was outstanding. Very well placed in Class 3 class race today.

R8 n2 FLEETWOOD MF on map but capable of being closer to speed this tempo. 5th up off 42 days rises 5kg back to 1110m (-90m). won recent strong class trial Doomben July 29 having first outing for Gollan stable (ex-Godolphin). He was ridden positively there by B Thompson and looked great late but it was on his preferred S6 surface. Has a big weight here but gets the inform Ben Thompson. Trial was great, map suits and should be winning.

Caulfield Meeting Selections

R8 n1 PRIVATE EYE Positive early on map to be behind leader. Resumes off short 63 day spell and two trials. Won most recent Warwick Farm 1000m Aug 8th. High class horse and clearly best credentialled runner in this race with a residual fitness edge on his rivals off a shorter 63 day spell. His last start effort resuming when 3rd to War Machine in the Group 1 Stradbroke conceding him 7kg in weight and race fitness is the benchmark for here today. Keen he wins and Nash knows him so well – S7 track no issue for him.

Rosehill Meeting Selections

R5 n5 PALLATON  T Berry (1) 54.5kg BM68 $2.30 Maps 3rd inside on leaders back. Resumes off 161 day spell and two trials. Won most recent 1044m Randwick August 8. Both trials very good with last one against older horses outstanding late with T Berry riding. Looks really forward in condition for his return and gets map favours for T Berry, keen he wins this race.

R7 n7 WAR ETERNAL Maps 3P back outside. 3a up off 14 days drops 4kg and well suited out to 1400m (+100m). Last start BM94 Rosehill H10 track sat 4th early 2L off leader on a slow tempo (winner led) and closed off well late for 2nd beaten 0.7L by The Novelist. Race rated well and he had gth fastest L200m of meeting which was a great effort at that time of the meeting on an awful track. J Collett gets back on with 54kg at his best distance and now race fit against these rivals – he is very well suited.

R9 n7 POLYGLOT Maps 4P back outside. Resumes off 175 day spell and two trials. Won most recent Rosehill 1030m July 29. Sat 3rd inside in trial locked away until late then exploded through on fence to win impressively. Loves the wet tracks and has excellent fresh form. J Mac sticks and map suits ideally late this tempo.

R10 n12 PERFUMIST Positive early on map to be on speed. Resumes off 161 day spell and two trials. Won most recent Rosehill 1000m July 29 -it was a Group class trial so most of the runners sat back off her early and let her lead by a big margin under no riding. She let rip from there in straight and won by 11L and was never really under any pressure. Resumes here in BM94 class, which won’t be easy for her but loves the wet, races on speed and simply could not have trialled any better.

Had right run there but race rated best of meeting and he closed off strongly late. 2nd up stats are excellent (3/4) and loves 1600m on soft. Keen it wins again.

R3 n3 MADHI GIRL On the 7 day back up stays at 1000m drops 1kg up to Bm72 class. Last start sat back 3L off leader on a very fast tempo in a race that suited run on horses. Exploded late along inside there to win by 1.2L. Race rated ok and she had a strong L600m figure there off that tempo but did have all the favours on the map. Look for a rinse and repeat today.

R4 n8 SNOW GOD 3rd up here off 21 days and both runs back have been good. Last start when 2nd up out to 1200m (on a 7 day back up-not ideal) worked hard outside leader on a very fast tempo and was only run down late by Yorga Priode who is a very smart filly. That was a high rating 3YO race and the margins back behind them were very good. Gets 21 days today off that back to 1000m and a great map behind the leader on a hot speed, keen he can win this race.

Charged home late with 11th fastest L200m of meeting for 2nd beaten 0.4L by Without Parallel (very good winning easily since). Had zero favours and the race rated highly with an excellent L600m figure for the meeting. Proven on soft and gets R Maloney. Will be strong late this tempo and map is ideal for her this time.

R5 n3 FIOPROSPERO Back MF inside on map. Off 21 days rises 2.5kg and stays at 2400m. Last start BM78 Rosehill S5 track when was 2000-2400m 3r° up off a mid-prep break (39 days) was slow away sat back 8L on a fast tempo and kept running home late for 3rª beaten 1.5L by Knights Armour. Race rated well. Unbeaten this track (2/2) on 57 and 55 tracks. Gets R Maloney and has a sense of timing about him prep wise for a race like this, we’ll just need R Maloney to get him away from the inside in the straight.

Last start resumed off longer 224-day spell BM78 S5 track 59kg drew outside sat back last 11L off leader on a fast tempo. He charged home late from there winning by 0.5L and closed off with a strong L600m figure for the meeting – that win had a lot of merit. Proven on wet tracks and maps well today.

R8 n16 GOSPEL GIRL Positive early from awkward draw. 3a up off 14 days drops 4.5kg and stays at 1200m. Last start when 2nd up Class 3 Doomben S6 track sat 4th inside 4L off leader on an even tempo and had all the favours there running 3rd to Lead Me On beaten 2.7L. Race rated well and she closed off with a decent L200m figure. Should be ready now 3rd up with 52kg and loves wet. Keen she wins and map now looks ideal.

R1 n4 HOVLAND Forward inside early. 5th up off 31 days rises 1kg and looks suited out to 2040m (+140m). Last start BM72 Canterbury H8 track sat 3rd inside in great spot on a very slow tempo and ran home late for 5th beaten 1.2L closing off well late behind Monarch Brae. Knights Armour finished behind him there and won a Saturday class BM78 next start. Lightly raced suited out in distance off this map with a positive gear change and B Shinn to ride. Has a bit in his favour today.

R4 n1 MORNINGTON GLORY Map suits behind lead group this tempo. Resumes off 287-day spell. Led and won slow trial very easily when eased right down late. Unbeaten this track and distance (4/4) and one of those wins was at Group 1 level. Trial was great and claim is significant – he is very well placed this class if ready to go.

R5 n7 STOLI BOLLI Back near last on map. Resumes off 217-day spell and two trials. Won most recent 800m Flemington July 25 and looked strong there on speed. Proven this track at 1200m and has a real class edge on these horses with B Shinn to offset a potential tricky map back in the field at 1000m. He trialed great and is just better than BM78 class horses.

R7 n5 SAYEDATY SADATY Positive early from draw to be on speed. 5t up off 21 days rises 1.5kg and stays at 2040m. Last start when 4th up Flemington sat in 1/1 position early on an even tempo and never looked like losing from there winning by 0.8L when well backed. Race rated highly and he closed off with a quality L200m figure off that tempo. Flying this prep, maps on speed again today and keen he wins. This track will suit him and young rider knows him well.

R9 n4 GREAT MAXIMUS Back MF on map but suited this tempo. 7h up off 21 days and stays at 1200m. Last start BM84 Flemington S5 track was off 28 days back to 1200m drew wider sat MF with cover 5L off leader on a fast tempo and closed off strongly late for 3rd to La Fracas (smart) beaten 1L. Race rated strongly and his L200m figure was very good. Racing well this prep from strong SA stable and gets M Zahra with a suitable map late this tempo.

Toowoomba Meeting Selections

R1 n1 SHAKE’N’BAKE Went from strength to strength last preparation winning two races at this track including his maiden by 6.8 lengths. He did enough 1st up in an unsuitable race and the step up to this trip looks ideal. Drawn to roll forward and race handy and will be hard to beat from there.

R2 n7 ADDICTIVE PIRANHA Has returned a much better horse this time in. She was good against the bias two back when 2nd at this track and trip then won impressively in a stronger race than this over the 870m. Steps back up to the 1000m which suits and can win again.

R4 n7 RED TOFFEE Has been racing well this campaign without luck from bad barriers including last start when a complete forgive after being trapped wide on a leader/inside bias track. Finally draws a good gate and in what looks a very thin race, can sit on speed and should be too good from there.

He toughed it out in straight from there running 2nd to Yet He Moves beaten 0.3L. That race rated best of meeting and favoured run on horses so and his effort was excellent. Better suited on dryer track and map/tempo suits today.

R3 n8 VINDICTA Map suits forward behind the lead group off inside. 2’a up off 20 days drops 4kg and stays at 1000m. Resumed off 123-day spell Class 1 Sun Coast sat 3rª early on a fast tempo and completely dominated that field late winning by 3.7L. Race rated well and his closing speed figures were excellent off that tempo. Lightly raced 5Y0 well suited today off this map and keen he wins.

R9 n13 PEREILLE Well back on map but suited there late this tempo. 5th up off 28 days rises 1kg and stays at 1200m. Last start Flemington Listed S6 track sat back inside them with no cover down the straight 3L off leader/winner on a slow tempo and ended up on inside fence charging late for 2nd to Marble Nine beaten 0.5L. He had dominant L600m figures from meeting with fastest L200. Not a regular winner (4/27) but very well weighted this class and can swamp these late and win.

Had a clear run home late but was inside (not best ground) to just miss running 2nd to Amusing. Well bred filly with strong closing speed in her races proven on S6 track and bred to handle the heavy. Map suits inside with cover and keen she wins.

Last start when 3rd up BM70 Sandown H S5 track sat 4th early in good spot but then shuffled back to 7th 5L off leader on a slow tempo (unsuited). He unleashed in straight winning by 3.8L- very impressively. Closing sectionals were outstanding with 4th fastest L400m of meeting. Lightly raced gets a great map and heavy track no issue for him. Better than these horses and should be winning.

Last start resumed gelded off 98-day spell BM78 Rosehill S5 track sat back 7th early 4L off leader on an even tempo and weaved through late back inside (not best ground) to win by 0.3L but was impressive late on the line. Race rated strongly and he closed off with a strong L400m figure for the meeting. Big strong horse should handle the heavy and looks better than these.

Race rated strongly and is a proven heavy track horse. First run for new stable today and looks suited.

Last start BM78 Flemington resumed off 126 days BM78 Flemington G4 track was slow away sat back 2nd last 6L off leader and no clear run home last 400m running 6th to Losesomewinmore beaten 1.4L when arguably could have won. Race rated very strongly and his L600m figure was elite off that tempo. J Melham rides today and importantly draws outside Losesomewinmore so should have clear run home at him off that. Well suited out to 1100m.

Race rated highly and he had a dominant L400m figure for the meeting off that tempo. He has been screaming out for 2000m and back to Melbourne racing with Blake Shinn off a great map – he looks to have found his race.

Last start BM88 Rosehill S5 track was off a 35-day break sat back 7th 7L off leader on a fast tempo and weaved through late to win easily by 1.2L and was eased down on the line. Race rated strongly and he closed off with a strong L200m off that tempo. Gelded now and straight track will suit him out wider late. Has enormous closing speed.

R8 n11 ONE LONG DAY Forward inside behind lead group. 2ª up off 24 days and won recent Ballarat Synthetic 1400m trial July 29. Drops 3kg out to 1620m (+420m). Last start resuming run off 151 days BM78 Sandown L S5 track. Sat back midfield inside 5L off leader on a very fast tempo and just couldn’t go with the winner late running 2nd to The Shaper who had 7kg less beaten 1.2L. Good horse and is unbeaten 2nd up (2/2) well suited out to 1620m and runs well for this rider.

Did a great job from there running them all down late to win by 0.8L. Race rated highly, and he had a huge L600m closing figure. Loves Doomben proven on soft and can’t be racing any better. Looks better than these and should be winning.

R9 n2 SAVOUR THE DREAM Midfield on map. Resumes off 126-day spell and two rock solid trials. Won most recent 1200m Deagon July 8 under zero pressure late. Lightly raced and talented colt with good fresh stats and resuming at 1350m is a real sign of intent by stable. Loves Doomben and proven on Soft and might just be too good for these. Market closer to race will be key indicator but he is a well above average horse.

Race rated ok and he closed off strongly L200m. Could argue that he should have won that race with clear run home. Maps great here and like him back onto a dryer track, looks the winner.

Last start BM78 Rosehill S5 track finally found a race with a fast early tempo-sat back 9L off leader with winkers on again and charged home late to win (was held up in straight) impressively by 1.4L. Race rated strongly and his closing figures were outstanding off that tempo. Not a regular winner (2/16) but has had genuine excuses in some of his losses. Gelded now and will need clear air in the straight but has enormous closing speed and sets up very well today.
