Last start Group 3 Hawkesbury H8 track was slow away sat back near last early in a big field on an even tempo and had zero chance of winning from there. Ran home strongly late for 4th beaten 2.8L by Media World who led and controlled in what was a strong race. He closed off with gth fastest L200m of meeting there off an unsuitable tempo/race shape. Proven out to heavy tracks and J Mac will have ready to launch late off this tempo.

R7 n2 IN FLIGHT Map suits forward inside behind fast tempo. 3d up off 14 days rises 5kg and stays at 1100m. Last start 2nd up staying at 1100m drew outside went to 4th early on a fast tempo (unsuited) and ran home strongly late to just miss when 2nd to Dragonstone. Race rated best of meeting and her L400m figure off that tempo was excellent. Loves the soft-heavy tracks and 1100m off a perfect map are ideal-keen she wins.

Last start Group 2 Morphetville drew outside sat back near last on an even tempo and charged home late for 6th beaten 4L by Reserve Bank (won Group 1 since). Race rated highly and he closed off with 5th fastest L200m of the meeting. He sets up ideally here back to 3YO class off last start effort and loves the soft.

R6 n11 KING ZEPHYR MF on map and suited. 5th up off 22 days drops 5.5kg and back to 1200m (-200m). Last start BM78 Flemington sat 4th early on an even tempo and was wide no cover there with 59.5kg working hard. Was way too strong late off that winning easily by 2L when heavily backed. Race rated strongly and his L400m figure off the above was excellent. Back to 1200m is no issue from this stable and he is a quality emerging sprinter who will win better races than this one. No runs yet on Soft tracks.

R9 n17 LIBERAMI Well back on map. 8th up off 26 days drops 5kg out to 1800m (+200m). Won recent 800m jump out Cranbourne May 12. He sat back early in that jump out and was very impressive late. Last start BM70 Sandown L sat back 8L off leader on a slow tempo (unsuited) and won by 0.3L when heavily backed. Race rated solidly off that tempo and he had an outstanding L600m figure for the meeting. Different horse this prep since tongue tie went on and looks suited out to 1800m first time with 54kg. Loves the soft.

Last start BM78 Randwick S6 track was 2nd up drew wider in small field and went forward to 2nd early but was 3 wide no cover on an even tempo. He had no chance of winning from there but was brave to the line running 3rd beaten 2.3L by Miss Icelandic. Race rated very highly, and his closing figures were strong off a very poor ride. Drying track suits and keen he wins today.

R9 n9 WRITTEN IN CODE Maps 3P back outside and suited. 4th up off 14 days drops 2.5kg and suited out to 1400m (+100m). Last start Group 3 Hawkesbury H8 sat 6th early 7L off leader on a very slow tempo (unsuited) and had zero chance of winning from there. She ran home strongly late for 4th beaten 2.3L by City Of Lights. She is a lot better suited off a faster early tempo and all three runs this prep have been good. Has strong closing speed late, proven on soft and with 53.5kg today she is so well suited.

He had EPC there but it was a fast tempo race out to that distance and was on a wet track. Back to BM84 class here with a claim and onto a dryer track all suits. Looks winner.

Last start Maiden Sale sat 4th on a fast tempo and exploded late to win by 3.5L when smashed in betting. race rated best of meeting, which is hard to do in maiden class. Her closing figures there were excellent. Looks a real talent will need clear air in straight off inside map but keen she wins again.

Resumed off short 77 day spell YO Mornington sat back MF 6L off leader on a slow tempo (unsuited) and then zero luck in straight held up beaten 4.1L to Movin Out when she clearly should have finished closer. Promising 3YO filly who sets up great today off a good map with 51kg- clear top pick.

R8 n8 WAR MACHINE Positive early from wide draw. 20d up off 21 days rises 4kg out to 1400m (+200m). Last start resumed off 154 days Listed Mornington drew inside and ended up in awkward spot 5L off leader/winner on an even tempo. He had to get into the clear from there coming to turn before charging home late for 2nd to The Instructor who fell in to win. Clearly should have won and had a dominant L400m figure for the meeting. Will need a positive ride early to get in behind the speed early but proven at 1400m and looks too good for this class. Good horse.

Last start BM84 Bendigo drew inside sat back MF inside 6L off leader on an even tempo and never clear until too late charged home late for 3rd beaten 0.7L by Marble Nine. Unlucky not to win and he had fastest L200m of meeting. Gelded this prep and only needs clear air in straight off inside map to run over these late and win.

Race rated best of meeting, and he closed off strongly late off that fast tempo. Tough 4YO who has now had a tough fast run win over 1800m to prepare him for 2100m today. Proven on soft and controls the speed up front.

R10 n10 RAIKKONEN Maps 4th in 1/1. Resumes off 133 day spell and two good trials. Ran 21a most recent 1207m WFarm April 17-it was a good trial. Form last prep was excellent early before end of prep run with excuses at EFarm when heavily backed in Group 3 class. That run was a complete forgive and he was quickly spelled. Dominant figures in two prior wins – he is a very classy 3YO in a leading stable. Won maiden on S5 track and maps ideally.

Race rated strongly and he closed off with a powerful L400m figure off that tempo. Well suited out to 1200m today off an ideal map and looks the winner.

Race rated strongly and she closed off with a strong L400 figure. Classy mare with very strong closing speed in her races and can win again.

Race rated best of meeting off that tempo, and he was strong home L200m. Flying for new stable and his closing speed last start off that tempo was excellent. Keen he wins again on the 7 day backup and better suited back on dryer track.

R6 n2 TORQUE TO BE SURE Back on map but suited late this tempo. Resumes off 119 day spell and two excellent trials. Won most recent 1000m Coast April 22. Did plenty wrong in both his starts last prep but both efforts were very good. Last run before spell he over raced and pulled his head off early on a very slow tempo yet still closed off with 2^a fastest L200m of the meeting beaten 1.2L by Quietly Arrogant. That was some run and I am convinced he has above average talent. First run at EFarm but the bigger track has to suit him off this fast tempo.

Last start resumed off 186 day spell drew outside sat back last early 7L off leader on an even tempo (unsuited) and made run home wider in straight running 3a to One Destiny who led and controlled beaten 0.7L when heavily backed. He had a powerful L600m figure from that race. Gelded last prep and all runs were good there before his excellent return at WFarm. Suited this class today off that out to 1300m off a great map.

Race rated well for the class and he had a strong L400m figure winning. Looks a promising horse from a great stable.

Last start BM100 Randwick drew outside (19) crossed and led early on a very fast tempo and just kept running winning easily by 4.2L when well backed late. Race rated highly it was an outstanding win. Loves soft and last two runs both off very fast tempo races gets a favourable map leading on a 7 day back up for Nash and top stable. Keen it wins.

Last start BM88 Randwick was 1000m-1200m 2d up and drew outside went forward to 2nd OSL on a very slow tempo (suited) and ran 3rd beaten 0.9L by Need Some Luck. Race rated solidly off that tempo and he closed off ok late but is much better suited here at 1100m off the leaders back in the run with 53kg. He has to race well off that set up.

Last start Randwick S5 sat 4th early in 1/1 position on a very fast tempo and had EPC to win from there running 4th beaten 1.6L by Know Thyself. Race rated very highly and while he had all the favours there he will get the same again today in a much easier race class wise. Claim suits and he looks the winner today off this map and slower tempo.

Lightly raced 4YO who was tested at elite level last prep and his form/figures from there stand out in this race. Resumed off 167 days last prep at Moone Valley and narrowly beaten by Baraquiel when smashed late in betting. That horse won Group 2 race at his next start. Map suits and well weighted today for an emerging young sprinter.

Last start BM74 Caulfield drew outside sat back MF 5L off leader on a fast tempo and was then held up and lost race there before charging late for 2ª to Heart Of Glass. Unlucky not to win there and race rated strongly, he had race fastest L200m. Needs another win badly but gets his chance today here off this map and set up.

Race rated very well off that tempo and her effort was strong, better suited today 3rd up out to 1400m and can run these down late and win at nice each way odds.

Resumed off 161 day spell BM70 Sandown drew inside sat 4rh early inside 5L off leader and not in A Ground there either at that meeting. Was brave late running 3d with big weight beaten narrowly by Carnival Row who he gets a 2.5kg weight swing. 2nd up form is excellent and has to be fitter today 2nd up for M Dee off a good map and well proven at 1600m. Decent horse suited this class race today with positive gear change.

R5 n3 SWEETHEARTED Back inside on map early. 2nd up off 14 days drops 2.5kg and stays at 1100m. Resumed off short 84 day spell Listed Class Flemington and was very good when well back 7L off leader and buried away and then held up but was really strong to the line beaten 2.2L by Alabama Lass. Inside map looks a concern though-will need a great ride late from there. He is a smart horse in a very good stable and has powerful closing speed in his races which will be requited here off his map and this race tempo but too classy to say he can’t run over them late and win though. Really like him as a horse.

R7 n13 ZLOTIES Back off MF with cover. 3′ up off 24 days drops 3.5kg and out to 1400m (+100m). Last start Sand H sat 5th 5L off leader and in right spot before running home strongly to win well when heavily backed. She had the right run there but looks to get that again today and the filly she beat last start Thames was very good last week. Stable are on fire and she is clear top pick again today.

R10 n12 PIVOT CITY Back MF and inside on map. 3″d up off 21 days drops 2.5kg and out to 1300m. Last start BM78 Moonee Valley drew outside sat back last 10L off leader and made run wide against the bias at that meeting running 2’* to Elouyou beaten 1L. It was an excellent effort. Inside map here is some concern if track is playing to wider runners late in meeting but now he is gelded he has come back a much better horse and capable of winning better races than this one.

R3 n2 LORD OF BISCAY Maps 3P back outside and suited. 5th up off 42 days and ran 2nd 920m trial Newcastle April 2″*. Last start Newcastle (off 49 day break) drew wider and sat 5th 4L off leader and 3 wide early running 2’* to Welcometobarbados beaten narrowly when heavily backed. He was very brave late there running second off that map. Dry tracker well suited at 1400m in this class and J Mac a key riding change off a great map. Keen he wins.

R4 n5 INKARUNA M Zahra (2) 56kg $3.90 3ª race start off 35 days and impressively won 740m trial Randwick March 28. Last start Randwick sat back 8th early 8L off leader on a fast tempo and was locked away there from 600-300m before running home strongly late for 3rd beaten 1.3L by Tempted. Very good effort and overall race figure was solid- she closed off strongly L200m. She was also strong late on debut Sandown with a strong L400m figure. Well-bred lightly raced filly in leading stable and sets up well here today after missing the Golden Slipper. M Zahra a key riding change for this stable off a great trial and confident she can win.

R8 n12 VIA SISTINA Maps 4th inside on leaders back. 4** up off 21 days and had quite tick over 1000m trial April 4th at Rosehill. Last start Group 1 Rosehill drew inside sat 4™ before winning easily by 1.6L at $1.22. Obviously had a lap on those horses and now arrives in target race for her prep in superb shape. Also gets preferred racing surface today and is our dominant WFA 2000m horse so is clear top pick today.

R9 n1 FANGIRL Maps 4P back outside. 4th up off 21 days and had quiet tick over 1000m trial Rosehill April 4th. Last start Group 1 Rosehill Drew outside sat back 6th early and charged late for 2nd beaten narrowly by Gringotts. She was wide there and was against the track bias at that meeting-her effort was outstanding. Freak mare at Randwick and is very well placed here back to F/Mares class off a great map. Keen she wins.

Out to 1600m off the break should be ok this stable and will roll forward and lead on slow tempo. Might be better than these and only has 52.5kg-clear top pick.

Last start MValley S5 with blinkers off sat back off MF 7L off leader on a very slow tempo (unsuited) on a track where you had to be on speed. Got out wider to close off powerfully late for 3ra beaten 2.1L by Shanwah (smart and on speed). Has always looked like a stayer and 2400m should suit him today-he was dominant late last start in the lead up race for here. Map suits him here to run over these late and win. Stable are on fire.

Last start Hawkesbury Maiden drew outside went back last 8L off leader on a very slow tempo and was way too good late for that class winning by 3.6L at longs odds with 2nd fastest L200m of meeting. Had a lap on them there and has always been a filly with Group class staying ability who will eat up the 2000m with light weight. Keen she wins.

R5 n1 GALLANT STAR Maps 4th in 1/1. 2nd up off 20 days and stays at 1400m. Resumed off 131 day spell and three trials at Coonamble led and controlled and had a lap on them there winning softly on the line by 4.2L at $1.18. Ran 2nd in this race last year with 56kg when was 4 wide no cover on a very fast tempo and was tough late. He is a very reliable horse capable of winning in better class than here. Map suits and should be winning today.

Was cruising there and got a split in straight exploding away to win softly by 1.3L. Overall race figure was excellent and her L600m figure there was elite. High class 1200m mare -her run in last year’s Everest was outstanding which is the best form reference for today. Keen she wins again.

Last start Rosehill sat back 6th inside 5L off leader on a slow tempo and not much room in straight- she charged late from there and should have won. She closed off powerfully with 10th fastest L200m of meeting once clear. Out to 2400m has to suit her off that and has taken on the colts all prep for her target race today. D Lane riding is a plus and looks the winner.

Overall race figure was solid and she closed off with 6th fastest L200m of the meeting. Completely dominant win against the pattern there and should still be on the up. Map suits and looks winner.

Last start Caulfield drew inside sat 3rd Flemington back to 1000m (-200m) went back to 9th early after being slowly away on a slow tempo and ran home powerfully late for 2nd beaten 1.9L. She had completely dominant L600-400-200m figure for meeting without the clearest run home. Maps to follow A Little Deep in run and she is flying this prep.

Last start Flemington sat back off MF 7L off a very fast tempo and ran on strongly from the back for 4* beaten 1.4L by Enxuto. Overall race figure was excellent and his L200m figure off that early speed was high quality. Irish import who should now be ready to win out to 1600m.

Classy NZ filly proven out to 1400m. First run down the straight but is unbeaten this distance 2/2. Draws inside but is very fast early and should get to the right part of track quickly.

R9 n3 DEAKIN Positive early on map to be 20. 1. 5th up off 29 days and ran 2nd recent 1200m jump out Pakenham March 18. Rises 3kg and out to 2600m (+100m). Last start MValley off 43 days out to 2500m (+500m) drew wide and went forward to sit 2nd (wide early) on a fast tempo and destroyed them late from there winning by 5.5L in totally dominant figures for the meeting. He still had race best L200m off the above. Quality stayer well suited out to 2600m despite weight rise.

R10 n13 SUNSET DREAMING Maps well back and wider with cover. Resumes off 192 day spell and very good trial when 2’a 1000m Caulfield Heath March 20. Very good resuming last prep when 2′” to Herbert Park beaten 0.3L when she should have won. This is first run down the straight but I will be surprised if it doesn’t suit her. Talented mare and J Melham has first ride from an ideal wide draw- she will be very strong late today.

Last start Group 3 Randwick was slow out sat back 9L off the leader on an even tempo (winner led/controlled) and ran home strongly late for 2nd beaten 0.6L by Little Baia when heavily backed late. She had dominant closing figures for the race. Ready to fire now and 1900m looks to suit off last start effort. Zac Lloyd a key jockey change and well suited today under this weight scale.

R4 n3 AUTUMN GLOW Maps 3P back inside. Resumes off 182-day spell and two trials. Ran 5th 1045m Randwick trial March 10. Unbeaten filly 3/3 and last prep recorded big figures off both fast and slow tempos on soft and dry tracks. Obviously had a setback early in prep which is never ideal, but her trials have been good and she is an elite filly who has plenty on these horses if she is back to her best.

Last start Randwick Group 3 sat back 6th 3 wide with cover 5L off leader on an even tempo and was way too strong late winning by 1.7L when well backed late. Overall race figure was quality, and her closing figures late were typically strong. Her record at 1100m is excellent and she will be charging home late off this tempo with 51kg.

Last start Randwick Group 3 sat back 7th inside 5L off leader and didn’t have much room in straight running 2nd to Commemorative beaten 1.7L in quality overall figures. She closed off there with 10th fastest L200m of meeting, it was an excellent effort.

Last start Flemington resumed off 91 days sat up 3rd on an even tempo and kept at it in straight running 3rd beaten 0.8L by Pivot City when well backed late. This was first run down straight and overall race figure was strong. He closed off well there and is a lot better suited today back around a bend and fitter. Nice horse for this class who will need a good ride early but has C Williams to sort that out. Softer ground a bonus.

R6 n2 SHANWAH Forward inside on map in right spot. 5th up off 28 days out to 2040m (+240m). Ran 2nd recent 1200m jump out Cranbourne March 10. Last start Caulfield 3YO Group 2 SW pushed forward early to sit 2nd behind Emphasize on a slow tempo. Never really going to lose from there and won by 1.5L when heavily backed late. Overall race figure was strong, and he closed off well late. Soft track form is inconclusive so far but looks a different horse since being gelded and looks suited out to 2040m.

Last start Randwick sat 3rd inside on a very slow tempo and was then checked badly in straight to run 2nd to Rivellini when he clearly should have won the race. Overall race figure was poor, but he closed off with fastest L200m of meeting. Excellent effort and sets up well today off a great map-he will get clear air in the straight today and ken he wins.

R5 n1 LINDERMANN Leads and controls on map. 3rd up off 14 days drops 1kg and well suited out to 2000m (+400m). Last start Group 1 Randwick sat 2rd on an even tempo and was very brave late for 3rd behind two outstanding mares beaten 0.4L. Overall race rating was outstanding. Won this race last year in a canter by 4.3L and is going better now-keen he wins.

Her most recent trail when 2d to start sprinter Private Harry was excellent- she closed off fast there when asked to go. Quality filly plagued by slow tempo races last prep but was right there not far off our best fillies in Lady Shenandoah and Treasure the Moment at Group 1 level. Can see her charging home late out in middle of the track today and winning this race.

R3 n2 MISS ARIA Maps back off MF and inside. 3rd up off 21 days drops 2kg and stays at 1100m. Last start Caulfield F&M Open sat back 4th on a very slow tempo in 1×1 and closed off hard late for 2nd to Semangu who led and controlled with light weight. Overall race figure was only fair, but she closed off powerfully late with outstanding L400m figure. Prefer out further than 1100m today but is a class act and gets D Lane to bring her home late.

R8 n13 KILLIANA Leads and controls inside. 2nd race start off 14 days out to 1200m (+200m). Last start Bendigo Maiden led and controlled on an even tempo and exploded away from them late winning by 4.2L when heavily backed. Race rated very well for the class and she had powerful L400m figure off that tempo winning easily. I have no issue with her going out to 1200m off that today. Should lead and control for M Zahra again and looks the winner.
